Today we have four locations across the Wasatch Front, all dedicated to helping people achieve healthy relationships with themselves and others. We provide attachment-focused individual, couple and family therapy.

Areas of Specialty

Play Therapy is...

Play therapy is designed to reduce symptoms of stress and feelings of victimization as skilled therapists facilitate this process. 

The playroom becomes a safe environment for creative expression and healing.

Depression is...

a common experience for many individuals that impacts both physical and emotional health. We seek to help clients work with their depression while also building skills to create a healthier emotional experience. 

Anxiety is...

a common experience for many individuals that impacts both physical and emotional health. We seek to help clients work with their anxieties while also building skills to create a healthier emotional experience. 


Neaurofeedback is...

Neurofeedback, or NF for short, is a technique used to train the brain to help improve body function and regulation in all areas. By challenging the brain with exercises done in a therapeutic setting, we can help the brain learn to function more effectively.

Attachment is...

a pattern of connecting and attempting to get needs met in primary relationships. We all have needs for safety, belonging and esteem.

Meet the Founders

Greenhouse Therapy Center and Staff

Collette Dawson, LCSW

Collette is an experienced therapist and CEO for The Green House Center. Collette earned her Master of Social Work Degree from Brigham Young University. Partnering with Guerry and Elsebeth Green, Collette was a founder of The Green House Center, fulfilling her lifelong desire to help others heal from trauma and find their purpose in life.

Collette's knowledge and love of Mindfulness, Attachment, Shame Resilience, and Relationship principles help clients reach their goals. Collette utilizes her skills in EMDR, EFT, DBT, Art Therapy, and Neurological Biofeedback, as she helps individuals and families.

Elsebeth Green, LCSW

Elsebeth has a Master of Social Work Degree from BYU and has worked with children and families for the last 20 years and specializes in relationships, attachment, and trauma.

She has worked at the Division of Child and Family Services as a family preservation worker and supervisor, at the Youth and Family-Centered Services as their Family Services Director, and the Utah Foster Care Foundation, where she trained foster and adoptive families for Western Region, and at Family Support and Treatment as a therapist.

Finally, in 2004, along with her husband, Guerry, and business partner, Collette, she opened The Green House Center for Growth and Learning. She uses a variety of modalities including EMDR, play therapy, sand tray, and art therapy, as well as traditional CBT techniques

Guerry Green, LCSW

With a Master of Social Work Degree from BYU, Guerry Green specializes in the dynamics of addiction as it impacts relationships and attachment within family systems. Guerry has worked with the Division of Child and Family Services as a family preservation worker and child protective services worker, and he was the Adult Clinical Director at The Gathering Place before he became co-owner of The Green House Center in the fall of 2004.

Guerry provides couples, individuals, and families with Emotion-Focused Family Therapy techniques, EMDR therapy for child and adult victims of trauma (including pro-bono PTSD services for Veterans), Sand Tray therapy with children and adults, and Neurological biofeedback therapy.
